Rfi is the best site about French-speaking music abroad!

Rfi-musique remains the best bilingual site where you can find stuff on "francophone" music in the world and thus, informative articles on Rachid (this has been true for years now): one new report on his concert in Beirout is on line, with bits of interview and all that you have to know on Afaa (thanks to an interview with FRÉDÉRIC PINARD Audiovisual attaché at the French Cultural Mission in Lebanon) we were already mentioning in a former post as the body thanks to which Rachid can tour in the Middle-East. It was in the context of the Afaa "Génération Musiques" project (a French cultural programme which invites artists of all stripes to play or spend time in a Mediterranean or Latin American country) that Rachid actually performed in Lebanon and another Rfi article explains that well here!
