Un concert pour Gaza

Le 1 février l’Institut du Monde Arabe à Paris a organisé un concert pour Gaza avec plus de 20 artistes, entre eux : Sapho, Souad Massi, Houria Aïchi, Nassima, Youmni Rabii, L’Orchestre National de Barbès, Sid Ahmed Lahbib, Les Gnawas d’Alger, Boogie Balagan, Jane Birkin, Christian Olivier (des Têtes Raides), Hélène Noguera, Hassan Idbassaïd, Idriss El Mehdi et la Bladi Bande, Rodolphe Burger, Rachid Taha, Lyes Taha et son groupe de Hip Hop, l’humoriste Jamel Debbouze et sa femme Mélissa Theuriau, etc., etc.

Le concert a duré presque 6 heures et Rachid a joué le dernier car il est arrivé un peu en retard parce qu’il revenait d' un voyage en Provence. Il est venu accompagné de son fis Lyes.

Avec son ami Rodolpho Burger, il a interprété le thème « L’arabécedaire ». Il a accompagné en scène aussi à Christian Olivier pendant il récitait des paroles de Jacques Prévert.

Finalement il a fait craquer à tout le monde avec « Ya Rayah » chanson interprétée à pétition du public, qu’il a jouée accompagné par plusieurs des artistes dans un ambiance de fête et plein de joie.

Tout l’argent recouvré des entrées sera destiné à aider au peuple de Gaza.

The first of February the “Institute of Arab World” in Paris organised a concert for Gaza with more of 20 artist between them : Sapho, Souad Massi, Houria Aïchi, Nassima, Youmni Rabii, L’Orchestre National de Barbès, Sid Ahmed Lahbib, Les Gnawas d’Alger, Boogie Balagan, Jane Birkin, Christian Olivier (fromTêtes Raides), Hélène Noguera, Hassan Idbassaïd, Idriss El Mehdi and the Bladi Band, Rodolphe Burger, Rachid Taha, Lyes Taha and his group of Hip Hop, the humorist Jamel Debbouze and his woman Mélissa Theuriau, etc., etc.

The concert lasted almost 6 hours and Rachid was the last artist in playing because he was travelling in Province and he was late. He came accompanied by his son Lyes.

With his friend Rodolpho Buger, he played the song “L’arabécedaire”. He also accompanied on the scene Christian Olivier while he was reciting some words of Jacques Prévert.

Finally he made everybody dance with “Ya Rayah” song played by public’s request, with some of the artists in a happy and festive ambience.

All the money of the tickets will be destined for helping Gaza’s people.

El pasado 1 de febrero, el Instituto del Mundo Árabe de París, organizó un concierto por Gaza en el que participaron más de 20 artistas, entre ellos : Sapho, Souad Massi, Houria Aïchi, Nassima, Youmni Rabii, L’Orchestre National de Barbès, Sid Ahmed Lahbib, Les Gnawas d’Alger, Boogie Balagan, Jane Birkin, Christian Olivier (cantante del grupo Têtes Raides), Hélène Noguera, Hassan Idbassaïd, Idriss el Mehdi y la Bladi Band, Rodolphe Burger, Rachid Taha, Lyes Taha y su grupo de Hip Hop, el humorista Jamel Debbouze y su mujer Mélissa Theuriau, etc., etc.

El concierto duró casi 6 horas y Rachid fue el último en actuar ya que se encontraba de viaje en la Provenza y llegó un poco tarde. Vino acompañado por su hijo Lyes.

Junto a su amigo Rodolfo Burger, interpretó la canción “L’arabécedaire” y también acompañó en el escenario a Christian Olivier mientras recitaba algunas palabras del poeta Jacques Prévert.

Finalmente, todo el mundo acabó bailando y cantando “Ya Rayah” que Rachid interpretó junto a algunos de los artistas invitados, a petición del público, en un ambiente festivo y lleno de alegría.

Todo el dinero recaudado de las entradas, será destinado a ayudas para el pueblo de Gaza.
